From architectural drawings to engineering drawings, project delivery is a long process. In this video, you will learn three different ways to start structural modeling in ProtaStructure that will accelerate your modeling process. One of the methods is to utilize an external reference drawing. You can easily import a DXF file and use the architectural drawing as a ghost layer. The second method enables you to transform the drawing objects into physical objects. You can import a DXF file which is prepared based on the DXF Import Guidelines, and ProtaStructure recognizes the objects in those drawings saving you a significant amount of time. The last method is manually inserting the axes and starting from the scratch.
